There once was a fat girl who wanted very badly not to be fat anymore. So she huffed and she puffed and she walked til her feet hurt, but when she looked in the mirror, she was still fat. One day the now, mad fat girl found some mad, barely fat, friends, and they decided to start a club. In this club they talked about fat girl's favorite thing..FOOD! Somehow talking about her favorite thing helped fat girl find a way to be fit, not fat.
The journey was fun for the first five weeks, in which fat girl lost 11 pounds! Then week six came. Oh..the dreaded week SIX! You see fat girl had always known week 3 was a monster..and she successfully beat that monster to a pulp, but she had never heard of the week six monster. The week six monster did not defeat her, but managed to stop her dead in her tracks. She cried out to her food loving friends for help, but found that they too were fighting the six week monster!
Week seven arrived and fat girl was relieved to find that the week six monster had disappeared. So she decided to train hard for the next time she encountered an unknown monster. One of fat girl's friends suggested that Kick boxing was a very effective way of killing monsters. The friend told fat girl great heroic tales of kicking the week six monster, the holiday monster, the special occasion monster and even the PMS monster in the teeth! So fat girl decided she would give kick boxing the old college try, even though fat girl never went to college, and was not completely sure what that saying meant.
Fat girl attended her first kick boxing class with the help of the, monster slaying not fat anymore, friend. Together they kicked and the huffed and they puffed and they almost knocked a kick bag down....but not quite. In years to come, I'm sure this story will tell that they kicked for days..but the truth is that it only felt like days, but in reality was just an hour. Fat girl was exhausted, but gave herself a pat on the back for finishing the training along with all the other ..used to be fat, but not anymore..girls.
Two days later fat girl was so sore from kick boxing that she would cry every time she had to go to the bathroom, or sit down, or get up, or climb a stair. It was rumored that she even wished but for a moment, that she were a boy so that she could pee standing up. Fat girl knew that if she wanted to kill the monsters she would have to train even harder...but first she just wanted to let her muscles heal. So, she resorted to walking the rest of the week, and planned to get to kicking again on Tuesday.
When fat girl weighed in at the end of week 7, she had gained five pounds. She was disappointed, but not too hard on herself..as she knew she was retaining some water for sure..and that she had surely built some muscle from kicking. She made the decision to be positive, and only be sad if next week, she still did not lose any weight.
